And the Best Restaurant in N.C. Is … Right Here in Chatham County!

Fearrington has earned another accolade! This Chatham County town, recently dubbed as “the most educated place in N.C.,” is home to one of the top restaurants in the nation.

Last month, OpenTable named Fearrington House No. 3 on a list of top restaurants in the U.S. (You can see the full list here). OpenTable based its list on the combined opinions of more than 5 million restaurant reviews for more than 20,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the Fearrington House and say congratulations! It’s so exciting to know one of America’s best eateries is right here in Chatham County.

About Fearrington House:

The Fearrington House provides an intimate dining experience for visitors to Fearrington Village, a inn/shopping venue/spa in Pittsboro. Executive Chef Colin Bedford has been with the restaurant since 2005, and he continues craft delicious farm-to-fork meals.

The Fearrington House is perfect for those looking to celebrate a special occasion, such as an anniversary or birthday. The menu changes seasonally, and once a dish leaves the menu, it never comes back, as Chef Bedford and his team are constantly experimenting new ideas. Every time you go, you should see something new (but it’s always delicious)!

Currently, you can enjoy everything from bacon to mushrooms to tenderloin to ginger cakes! Fearrington House also has a fantastic wine selection.

One last tidbit: The Fearrington House is the only AAA Five Diamond restaurant in the U.S. to be Green Certified.
