NC Hops & Roots Festival – Sept 1
Shakori Hills, Chatham County, NC – Just about 10 miles from the Old Courthouse in Pittsboro is Shakori Hills, the legendary NC concert venue. This Saturday, September 1, it’s sure to be a good time with the fall NC Hops & Roots Festival.

If you live in Pittsboro like me, the NC Hops & Roots Festival has it all in a day-long event right in our own backyard.
The Grove Stage will have eight bands between 1:30 and approximately 11 PM. Lizzy Ross, Tres Chicas and the Olympic Ass Kicking Team are just three of the acts. See the music line-up.
On the Hops side of the festival, six local craft brewers will be on hand including Full Steam, Foot Hills and Lonerider. Check out the craft brews.
Four North Carolina wineries will be represented, plus four local eateries. Five local farms will be on hand and there are family activities all day.

Tickets are $20 at the gate. Kids 15 and under are free.
