Pittsboro, NC – Chatham County Parks & Recreation Department has some special upcoming events including a Trunk or Treat on October 26.
Trunk or Treat at Southwest District Park

Chatham County is hosting Trunk-or-Treat at Southwest District Park on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
There will be games, trick-or-treating, inflatables, and an outdoor movie. The outdoor movie is “Halloween Town” and showtime is at 8:00pm.
Please be sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on if you plan to stay for the movie.
Southwest District Park is located at 15124 NC Highway 902 in Bear Creek, next to Chatham Central High School.
This event is free to the public.
Cookies and Milk with Santa

Who wants to have Cookies and Milk with Santa? If you raised your hand, go to the Northwest District Park Dining Hall on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
There will be holiday crafts as well as a sing-along, pictures with Santa, and of course, his favorite snack – cookies and milk!
Photographs taken that night will be printed on site and will be yours to keep.
The cost is $15.00 per child and $10.00 for each additional sibling. Register your child by Friday, November 16 by calling 919-545-8555 or emailing [email protected].

Parents Night Out

Chatham Parks & Rec is hosting their first ever Parents Night Out on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 6:00-10:00 pm at the Northwest District Park Dining Hall.
If you need to catch up on your holiday shopping, run errands, or just get a break from it all – take advantage! There’s arts and crafts, games, a movie, and more! Children must be in grades K-8 to attend.
