With the excitement of one new local restaurant, Peppercorn, opening, North Carolina foodies anticipate the opening of another unique spot in Chatham County. The Oasis Open Air Market in Downtown Siler City welcomes you to discover an edible oasis among local fare, food and crafts.
What to Expect:
The Oasis Open Air Market will be your next one shop stop for all of your local grocery needs. Enjoy preparing your next home meal with locally grown and raised produce, cheese and meats. While vendors are still being added to the lineup for upcoming January events, there is no shortage of local favorites already on the list.
Visit the market to grab a bite from Chewy’s Smokin’ BBQ and GunDogs Catering, with menu items, such as Coney dogs, bratwurst, Brazilian-style sausages and Cuban-style BBQ sandwiches. Take this opportunity to expand your palate!

Where did the idea for the Oasis Open Air Market first begin? The concept of an open-air market intended to expand on the Siler City farmers’ market, while seeking to integrate many of Siler City’s farmers, entrepreneurs and art vendors. Many of the same contributors will continue adding on to the experience at the Oasis Open Air Market.
The market will officially be open for business on Friday, January 27th and Saturday, January 28th from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy an oyster roast and seafood chowder from NC Fresh Catch, tacos and burritos from Taco Michoacan and local shopping!
