“Egg”ceptional Easter Events
We’re hopping into the spring season! That also means that we’ll be spending the next few weekends hopping around to all of the Easter events in Chatham County. Rumor has it that the Easter bunny may be making a visit or two!
Pittsboro United Methodist Church:
The Pittsboro United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. This kid-friendly event will have no shortage of themed games, snacks and face painting. What better way to celebrate Easter than with a bunny painted on your cheek?
No matter your age, all are welcome to the Easter egg hunt beginning at 11:15 a.m. on the lawn.
Pickle Jar Cafe:
Yummy, did someone say Easter brunch? This year, put away your aprons, pots and pans – brunch is served at the Pickle Jar Cafe. On Sunday, April 21st from 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., join the “egg”cellent Pickle Jar Cafe for a delicious brunch buffet.
Only reservations will be accepted for brunch, as seating is limited. The price for adults is $26.00 and $12.00 for children ages 6-12. Children under the age of 6 dine for free!
The Root Cellar:
The Easter fun continues at the Root Cellar for an afternoon of Easter egg hunting and tasty food. On Sunday, April 14th at 1:30 p.m., grab a bite to eat and then ready your basket for an epic Easter quest. The prize, of course, is more treats than you can even imagine!
Piedmont Animal Farm Refuge:
Meet the stars of springtime themselves, the chicks! The Piedmont Animal Farm Refuge in Pittsboro welcomes you to learn about and interact with their spring chickens as well as their goats, turkeys and ducks on the farm too. Enjoy the kids candy hunt, coloring station and raffle along with the free snacks and beverages.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 20th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with a suggested $10.00 donation per person. Don’t forget to RSVP!
Bray Park Sports Complex:
Did someone say 6,000 Easter eggs and prizes? Siler City is celebrating Easter on Saturday, April 13th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with activities for all ages! Join your neighbors at Bray Park for an afternoon of face painting, inflatable attractions, food and, of course, the Easter bunny.
The Easter Egg Dash starts at 11:00 a.m., can you collect all 6,000? Maybe not, but you can try! The event will be held on fields 1, 2, 5 and 6.
Central Carolina Community College – Pittsboro Campus:
Central Carolina Community College hosts the Easter Egg Hunt & Spring into Safety event on Saturday, April 13th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. This event is free to the public and will feature inflatables, clowns, games and safety demonstrations.
