Grammy winner Mike Farris was the founder and lead singer for the Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, but has been touring and performing as a solo act since 2001.
On February, 14, the Chatham County Council on Aging will host a virtual concert experience, sponsored by Transitions LifeCare. Streaming live from 4-5:30 p.m., ticket holders can access the show via Zoom. Access information will be provided upon ticket reservation. Though tickets are free, donations are welcomed and accepted. All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the Chatham County Council on Aging. Make your reservation today!
The Plant:
As you are listening to Mike Farris strum the night away, get all dolled up for dinner with Chatham Cider Works and The Plant. Valentine’s Dinner at The Plant will take place from 4:30-7 p.m., rain or shine. With outdoor and indoor seating options, reservations are scheduled to allow for safe social distancing. A ticket cost is $100 and includes:

The most dynamic duo of Valentine’s Day is back in action at Starrlight Mead! From Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 14 from 12-5 p.m., devour this special offering for Valentine’s weekend. For the couples, the Galentines in your life, your friends, this special is for them all. The cost is $7 for six samples of mead paired with three delectable chocolates. Writers Morning Out:
February 13 is the day before Valentine’s Day, meaning you have 24 hours to create something special for your loved one. Take a different approach this year, write something meaningful. Writers Morning Out is part of the North Carolina Writers Network, which provides education and discussion around the art of writing as well as resources and opportunities for local writers to achieve recognition for their work.
