Holidays at Home

Bynum Front Porch Christmas Trees

The history of Christmas tree industry in North Carolina is a rich one. In 1955, our state began growing Frasier Fir seedlings. Years later, in 1964, the state celebrated the achievement of selling one million Christmas trees with the price averaging $1 per foot. Today, there are nearly 1,300 growers producing Fraser Fir Christmas trees on an estimated 40,000 acres. Here, we produce over 20% of Christmas trees in the United States.

Make sure your Christmas tree has roots from North Carolina and order ahead from Bynum Front Porch in Pittsboro! Supplying you and your home with fresh Fraser Firs from the Appalachian Mountains, all trees are cut just two days before delivery. Order your tree or wreath by Wednesday, November 16 for pickup on Saturday, November 26. Order tabletop trees to 11-foot trees and wreaths online!

On Saturday, November 26 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., enjoy a holiday bazaar of local artisans selling pottery and crafts onsite. The Blood Connection will also be hosting a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
