Yoga – The Inn at Celebrity Dairy

The Inn at Celebrity Dairy is known for their world-class bed and breakfast, Sunday dinners and open barn events. Kicking off in the New Year, visit for a yoga class or two! Upcoming classes are hosted on January 10, January 17, January 24, January 31, February 7, February 14, February 21 and February 28 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Call (919)-742-5176 to reserve your spot, as space is limited. The cost is $15 per class and led by Kim Caraganis. 

Learn alignment principles from the best, moving into yoga postures while integrating breathing techniques. From beginners to experienced yogis, modify teachings to meet your level, no matter where you are on your mat!

Run Club – House of Hops Pittsboro

Some people run for fun and some people run for beer. Both mentalities are encouraged at the House of Hops Run Club in Pittsboro. Runners and walkers are invited to the Pittsboro location every Tuesday at 5 p.m. for a 3-mile loop. During the summer, the 5-mile option is available! All skill levels are welcome and Run Club members receive special promotions after the run, including $5 pints. Sign up for your membership!

Zumba – Chatham County Parks and Recreation

Stay active at the heart of your community with Chatham County Parks and Recreation! Fridays January through May, Zumba Gold is offered at the Chatham Grove Community Center from 9:30-10:30 a.m. This class is modified for beginners and older adults wanting to explore Zumba-type movements at a lower intensity level.

On Thursdays from January through May, Zumba is offered at the Chatham Grove Community Center from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This interval-style, dance party combines low intensity and high intensity, Latin-inspired moves.

The Chatham County Council on Aging offers various fitness programs year-round. If it’s body conditioning, chair yoga, table tennis or Bingocize, it’s movement and it’s improving your health! Classes are hosted by certified instructors at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center and the Western Chatham Senior Center. Select the class, time and intensity level that best fits your needs! Events are restricted to registered attendees!
