Chapel Hill Ghost Walk

Time to reverse the clocks and take a stroll through Chapel Hill’s haunted history. The Chapel Hill Ghost Walk invites you to discover the tales that lurk in the shadows of our favorite North Carolina neighborhoods. You’ll hear ghostly stories, uncover secrets of the past and maybe encounter a few friendly spirits along the way. All they ask is that you prepare to embrace the supernatural.

You may meet creepy spirits who inhabit an old auditorium, a haunted hotel room and more stops along the way. The Chapel Hill Ghost Walk occurs every Saturday until December 27 at 8 p.m. The price of admission is $14. Tickets are available online, book if you dare!

The Haunted Mile of Terror at Shakori Hills

This Halloween, brace yourself for the ultimate night of fright at Pittsboro’s Haunted Mile of Terror at Shakori Hills. On nine select nights, thrill-seekers can embark on a mile-long, drive-through journey, filled with horror… As you navigate through eerie graveyards and abandoned asylums, you will encounter ghastly apparitions and unsettling effects, all from the safety of your vehicle. This experience is perfect for families and friends on the hunt for a good scare.

Before you set out, here are a few things to keep in mind: tickets are sold per vehicle, with a maximum of eight passengers, and must be purchased online in advance. Upon arrival, be ready to present your ticket and a guide will direct you for next steps. For the optimal scare, consider driving with the windows down, but guests should stay in their vehicles at all times.

Tickets are limited, so grab yours while they last!
