Fall into Fearrington Wine Dinners and Classes
Whether it’s a ladies night out, date night or you’re taking some personal time, Fearrington Village is offering both wine tasting classes and wine themed dinners this August. Join them for a trip around the world from South Africa to the Danube, for a crash course on wine history and tasting.
Fearrington Village keeps the wine flowing for two select dates in September and October for feature wine classes with Chris Tyrell of Tyrell’s in Hunter Valley, Australia and Marc Hochar of Chateau Musar.
Taste the South African Wine Culture:
As an epicenter of wine innovation in the world, South Africa is without a doubt making history with its unique wine culture, a culture that spans from the present day to the seventeenth century. From the foundation of the Cape of Good Hope by the Dutch East India Company, South Africa began to establish a name for themselves in the management of their vineyards.
Taste the many wine varieties this country has to offer by “Exploring the Wines of South Africa.” Did we mention that cheese was involved too?
