Holiday Dinner on the Farm
Siler City, NC – Imagine having Thanksgiving dinner on a real old-time farm, with heaping plates of steaming food, everything so fresh the taste explodes in your mouth.
Imagine no more. Just a short drive from Pittsboro, right here in Chatham County, is The Inn at Celebrity Dairy. They’ll be hosting lots of great holiday events including Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner on the farm.
Celebrity Dairy
Right up Route 64, just a half hour from Monterrane (my neighborhood in Pittsboro), Celebrity Dairy invites you to experience life lived at the pace of a small family farm.
Sheltered on a gentle knoll under 250 year old oak trees, the Inn boasts a charming B&B for a little weekend get-away and a working farmstead goat dairy producing award-winning goat cheese, well-known and loved throughout the Triangle region.
A wonderful place to visit, Celebrity Dairy has several fun events in the month of November you won’t want to miss.

Fall Open Barn
Celebrity Dairy hosts two “Open Barn” afternoons each year at the beginning and end of their cheese-making season. During this time, visitors have a standing invitation to stop by – rain or shine. November marks the end of cheese-making for now.
We’re talking gourmet goat cheese. Speaking of goats, this year’s kids have now become teenagers and the does are in mid-late gestation. Things slow down at the farm, and it’s a perfect time to visit.
The Fall Open Barn is the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, November 28th from 1:00-5:00 PM.
