Open Studio Tour 2018

On Saturday, April 14th, the studios will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 15th from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. That’s just enough time to find that perfectly original masterpiece for your own, or gift for someone else. While the tour itself is self-guided, many studios are available throughout the year for touring appointments.

Tip #1: Researching different styles of art and artists is always an effective tactic for determining the style that interests you the most. Get a feel for your taste before committing to a purchase.

Getting There:

Upon arrival, make sure to pick up your Studio Tour Map, so that you leave no studio unpainted. Along the way, you will notice road signs indicating more specific directions to each studio.

For an early look at the map, please visit the site.

To get a better idea of what to expect, set out your own itinerary for the day using this Artist Directory.

To set up a personalized studio tour, call the studio of your choosing to make the appropriate arrangements.

Tip #2: Knowing the story behind a piece of art makes it that much more special to own. Don’t be shy to ask the artist about their inspiration or story for their creation.

Your Day in Fearrington:

You don’t have to be a descendent of Picasso to enjoy this event at Fearrington Village! Thanks to the event sponsors – Angelina’s Kitchen, Moon Asian Bistro, Alberello and the Belted Goat – find the perfect culinary compliment to your day.
