Father's Day Festivities

Father’s Day Festivities

Happy Father’s Day! With just a couple of days away to plan dad’s holiday weekend, Chatham County has plenty of activities available to fill your calendar. From mead, to games, to brunch and more, start making your plans and reservations today!

The Inn at Celebrity Dairy:

The Inn at Celebrity Dairy in Siler City is serving up your annual dose of Father’s Day dinner. Spending all day in the kitchen isn’t exactly a holiday for most, let the professionals cook for you! What’s on the menu, you ask? Try a bite of peach cobbler with ginger and goat milk gelato. Enjoy a round of spicy shrimp cocktail shots. We guarantee that the list doesn’t end there.

Seasonal and local produce tastes even better when it’s served in a four-course meal. Begin the dinner with a taste of the farm – a goat cheese tasting platter. As dinner is served, you are welcome to bring your own wine or beer along to accompany the meal.

After dinner, the tables turn a bit. Embark on a Celebrity Dairy barn tour and meet some of the famous goats responsible for those yummy cheese platters. The end of the tour means polishing off the night with a cup of coffee and dessert.

Dinner will be served on Sunday, June 16th from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Dinners are $60 per person, including tax and gratuity. You must make a reservation in advance to join The Inn for dinner.

Located in Fearrington Village, summertime at the beer garden means live music, local brews, wine by the glass and wood-fired pizza. On Saturday, June 15th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., spend an evening enjoying the tunes of Eric Bannan on the front porch.

Take a seat around the fountain or underneath the large oaks with a pizza slice in one hand and a drink in the other. Now, let’s talk pizza. You’ll have three red sauce pizzas to choose from and three white sauce pizzas. When it comes to the ingredients and toppings, the chefs switch it up based on what is available locally that season.
