The Chatham County Economic Development Corporation

As a non-profit, the Chatham County Economic Development supports businesses and recruits prospective businesses to the area, marketing Chatham County as an ideal location for growing companies. Seeking to bring entrepreneurship to residents, the corporation retains and attracts companies looking to relocate to Chatham County.

In providing low-cost resources to small businesses, the corporation supports local entrepreneurs as they begin the development of business plans and structures. For the many obstacles that come with opening a business, the Chatham County Economic Development Corporation has the best tools for guidance.

Partnerships and programs provided through the Chatham County Small Business Center, Business Link North Carolina, the Small Business and Technology Development Center and SCORE are among the many resources available to small business owners.

Ted Abernathy, the managing leader of Economic Leadership LLC, will be the keynote speaker for the event. With 35 years of experience directing economic development and workforce development programs, Abernathy speaks regularly to groups about the economy, the future of work and organizational leadership.
