Manifestation Momentum: A New Year’s Yoga Mini Retreat
And if you are waking up on Sunday, January 7 ready to set your intention for the New Year, instructors Jaime Warkonyi and Melissa Lido are hosting a mini yoga retreat! Take time to reflect, release, restore and inspire your body through this empowering, holistic experience. During the practice, participants will be guided through yoga, meditation, Reiki, journaling and specially crafted ritual. Sharpen your focus, gain clarity and heal through their expertise!
Warkonyi and Lido lead a blend of Kundalini and restorative yoga practices, meditation and the energy healing of Reiki. This meditative form of Reiki is designed to purify, heal, empower and guide practitioners. In the candle and sigil ritual, practitioners will identify a personal sigil, or a symbolic representation of your intentions for the coming year. Bring your journal to begin inspiring and manifesting your journey!
The mini retreat will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Yoga Garden Pittsboro. Online registration is $99 per person, sign up now!
Wine & Design
Looking to learn a new skill, acquire a new hobby in 2024? Look no further than Wine & Design in Chapel Hill. Throughout the year, Wine & Design offers daily classes hosted by local artists. You’ll paint your very own seasonal design with the help of step-by-step instructions provided by the artist. The best part? Bring your own snacks, beer and wine to enjoy throughout the class.
Booking and payment must be made online. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In January, their designs include a Snowy Walk, Winter Cardinal and a Snowy Winter Cabin. On January 20, their Paint it Forward for Habitat for Humanity event will raise awareness and funds for Habitat for Humanity in Orange County. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to the organization!
7 Dance Centre
Maybe in the New Year you’d like to learn more about self-expression through art, discipline and the technique of dance. Discover your abilities at 7 Dance Centre in Pittsboro! Through their adult class offerings, you will learn with dancers of all skill levels. For those of you who used to lace up tap shoes regularly, it’s time to get back into the swing of it!

Clayworx Studios
Registration is now open for the January – February session at Clayworx Studios in Pittsboro! Their instructors offer creative clay classes, suitable for all ages and levels. The following classes are available beginning in January:
