This isn’t just a place—it’s a story. In 2008, Barbara, the family matriarch, retired from her city job and chased her dream of owning a small motel in a rural town where family could visit. She found that dream in White Bird.
With help from her children and the community, the Lodge has grown—adding cabins in 2014, remodeling in 2021 and launching the RV Park in 2024. Her dedication to guests and love for the land continues through her family, who now help run the property.

Amenities include Wi-Fi, picnic tables, a charcoal grill and on-site laundry service. Located within walking distance of restaurants, local attractions and historic landmarks, the park offers both convenience and charm.

Whether visitors are staying overnight or for an extended adventure, the park provides a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Winter RV storage is available, making it a year-round destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Cabins – White Bird Cabins offer a cozy, scenic retreat in the heart of Idaho’s wilderness. Guests can choose from two charming log cabins with full kitchenettes, couch beds and mountain-view decks, or a larger cabin featuring a full kitchen, separate bedroom, loft and wraparound deck.
Lodge – White Bird Lodge combines rustic charm with modern convenience. Recently remodeled, the lodge features spacious rooms with 2 or 3 queen beds, warm cabin-style décor and cozy touches like Keurig coffee makers, mini fridges and microwaves.
Covered Wagons – A unique and unforgettable lodging experience is on the way! White Bird Lodge & RV Park will soon offer a beautifully crafted Conestoga Wagon, blending pioneer charm with modern comfort.
This custom stay will feature a king bed, wagon wheel table, double hoop canvas canopy and a wooden door with window—all equipped with AC/heat, electrical outlets and lighting for a cozy, climate-controlled retreat. Stay tuned for the grand opening of this one-of-a-kind addition!
