Celebrate National Wellness Month: Local Paths to Rest, Renewal & Resilience

August is National Wellness Month — a time to pause, recharge and reconnect with what nourishes you, inside and out. From soothing spa experiences and holistic healing to empowering therapy and movement-based practices, Chatham County and surrounding areas offer meaningful ways to support your well-being all month long.

Tucked into the serene woods of Hillsborough, just minutes from Chapel Hill and Durham, Hillsborough Spa and Day Retreat offers a peaceful escape focused on inner beauty and total renewal. From personalized Éminence Organics facials (like the glow-boosting Fire and Ice or youth-enhancing Better Than Botox) to deeply relaxing custom massages, scrubs, wraps and soak & sound experiences, every service is tailored to your unique needs.
Enjoy luxurious amenities, including infrared saunas, steam rooms, tranquility lounges and healthy snacks and teas — all in a setting designed to calm the mind and rejuvenate the body. Whether you’re visiting solo or as a couple, Hillsborough Spa is your destination for rest, reconnection and restoration.
Book your custom spa day and receive 10% off packages. Open daily (except Tuesdays).
