Chatham County’s New Data Center Moratorium: What It Means for Local Real Estate
On February 11, 2026, the Chatham County Board of Commissioners approved a one year temporary moratorium on permitting new data centers, data processing facilities and cryptocurrency mining operations in unincorporated areas of the county.
