Decked Out December

From decking the halls to decking your holiday calendar, there is no doubt that December is a hectic time of year. Save some time to simply enjoy the season with the ones you love. There’s no better place to do that than home. We invite you to explore the many seasonal offerings in the area, with our help, of course!

A Christmas Carol: Dinner Show

Your favorite holiday classic is back! A Christmas Carol will be performed on Sunday, December 8 at the Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store. What’s better than dinner and a show? When it’s a Christmas-themed dinner and a show!

The Phoenix Theatre Company and Pittsboro Roadhouse invite you to kick up your heels and enjoy the show. For one night only, meet Scrooge and his many ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. The best part? You are a part of the cast!

At the Fezziwig Christmas Party, your first course of the dinner begins. The Cratchits will also be savoring their holiday meal along with you! Dessert is served with Scrooge’s nephew and his family!

For ticket prices between $30 – $35, choose a reservation for the 1 p.m. performance or the 5 p.m. performance. Reserve your spot today.

From marching bands, to seasonal floats, to antique cars and more the parade is for all ages and interests. Better than that, it’s free for everyone!

Saturday in the park, I think it was the Fourth of July… well, maybe a bit chillier than July! Chatham County Parks & Recreation welcomes you to their Holiday in the Park celebration on Friday, December 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northwest District Park in Siler City.

Watch the magic unfold as the Christmas tree lighting takes place on the pond. Snack on s’mores and tasty reindeer treats. Did we mention that Santa would be there too? This event is free for all to attend!
