The Big What?

The Big What?

If you haven’t gotten your fill of summertime music festivities yet, The Big What? is coming to central North Carolina for three nights in August. Running Thursday, August 8th through Saturday, August 10th, catch the sounds of southern nights at Shakori Hills Community Arts Center in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

This annual summer music festival and campout is the best way to end the summer on a high note before heading back to school at the end of the month. It’s a summertime tradition you won’t want to miss out on!

The Music:

Now, what is a music festival without the music? You may have heard of the band BIG Something, a group from Burlington, North Carolina that expertly fuses together the elements of rock, pop, funk, jazz and hip hop to take listeners on an epic musical journey. For the past eight years, BIG Something has been the creative mind behind The Big What?

In developing a strategic lineup of musical and artistic talent, BIG Something has gained an extensive following, or “WHATFAM.” Thanks to that following, The Big What? is commonly referred to as one of the best intimate festival experiences in the Southeast.
