Postal Fish Company
After celebrating prominent success as the executive chef and executive sous chef at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, James Clark and Bill Hartley decided to open up their newest venture – Postal Fish Company. Located at 75 W. Salisbury Street in Pittsboro’s old post office building, Postal Fish Company opened its doors in 2017 to an excited wave of “seafoodies.”
The beginnings of Postal Fish Company surfaced as a vision of a casual eatery, dedicated to celebrating local seafood from the Atlantic coast. While Clark and Hartley have enjoyed serving up more unusual eats, like striped bass and white grunts, they have expanded their markets into oysters, crabs, shrimps and other fish with the local relationships they have built with the fishing community.
The Sycamore
Located at Chatham Mills, The Sycamore takes great pride in unique cuts, seasonal plates and local flavors. Serving up the extraordinary, this steakhouse and restaurant in Pittbsoro is known as the “hidden gem” of fine dining in the Triangle area. Their modern-vintage atmosphere provides an environment for guests to relax and unwind.
If it’s ostrich or duck, delectable desserts or a glass of sommelier-selected wine, The Sycamore aims to impress. Visit The Sycamore restaurant, bar or lounge from Tuesday through Saturday from 5-9 p.m.
